Industrilas, one of our suppliers, has recently made a significant change in its production process by switching to climate-effective zinc. This new zinc is produced entirely with renewable energy, resulting in a 43% reduction in emissions from zinc production. Despite this change, the zinc maintains the same alloy as before and can be seamlessly integrated into Industrilas' production without the need for any adjustments.

The decision to switch to climate-effective zinc was motivated by Industrilas' commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This move not only reflects the company's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint but also aligns with its vision of becoming a key partner for a sustainable tomorrow.

The adoption of climate-effective zinc not only benefits the environment but also offers indirect advantages for Industrilas' customers and partners. According to Fredrik Mölzer, the CEO of Industrilas, this change provides an opportunity to enhance the quality of their products, thereby offering an improved offering to their stakeholders. Mölzer emphasizes that customers and partners can now expect a functionally high-performing product that is also better for the environment and the future.
